Dining

Guests can enjoy a full breakfast, lunch and dinner served in the dining room at the communal dining table. We serve an assortment of dishes influenced mostly by tropical Indonesian and Asian style, but also international cuisines. Local beer and wines are available for purchase.


Each day generally starts with a family style continental breakfast setting of cereals, homemade bread or pastries, spreads, tropical fruits, coffee and tea. There is also a daily a la carte menu for cooked breakfast dishes such as eggs and hash brown potatoes or Indonesian breakfast of fried rice or fried noodles.

Lunch and dinner are served family style and include a variety of local vegetables, fish and chicken, accompanied by freshly made salads, soups and desserts.

We check in with each guest before their arrival regarding special meal requirements and are easily able to accommodate special diets such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and so on.



Sample Lunch Menus

Ikan Pepes

Fresh fish of the day marinated in kaffir lime leaf, lemongrass, and Indonesian spices, then barbecued in banana leaves. Served with turmeric rice, vegetable spring rolls and water spinach/peanut salad with soy vinaigrette dressing.

Satay Ayam

Chicken satay stick with coconut-peanut sauce. Served with chicken wings in sweet soy sauce, mixed vegetable & lemongrass stirfry, local wild black rice and chilled carrot salad with dijon mustard.


Sample Dinner Menus

Udang Rica Rica

Grilled prawn skewers rubbed with a chili-ginger paste. Served with pumpkin curry, spinach, bean sprouts & wildflower stirfry, tempe in tomato sauce and steamed jasmine rice. Followed by a carrot-tanjarine cake.

Rendang Sapi

Traditional Indonesian beef curry with cinnamon, cloves & chili slow-cooked in cocnut milk. Served with nutmeg potato cakes, water spinach & papaya flower stirfry and steamed jasmine rice. Followed by Spice Islands cake.

Lounge

The guest lounge and sundeck area is a comfortable place to relax in between dives. At the end of the day, it is a meeting point where guests can enjoy a lite snack and local beer or bottle of wine while they discuss the day’s dives. Non-divers can spend their day enjoying a book in the lounge or lying out on the sun loungers underneath a parasol.
