With a maximum of 12 guest divers, Alami Alor provides a unique and personalized diving service and resort experience to each guest. The resort location at the edge of Kalabahi Bay allows us to quickly reach both central and northern Alor coral reef sites plus visit muck diving sites within the Bay. Our house reef is a top resort feature as it is accessible by simply stepping off of our dock into the water with your guide or to explore independently. The Alami house reef is full of macro life, schooling fish, baby reef sharks and resident mandarin fish. It makes for an excellent day, dusk or night dive. Night dive lovers will be blown away by the level of night critter diving that can be found within the Kalabahi Bay, just minutes from the resort.
Alor is one of the best macro and muck diving locations in Indonesia. On every reef dive you can find amazing macro critters, plus we have plenty of black sand muck sites that offer that chance to see so much more both on day and on night dives.
This video link will give you a small impression of what macro diving in Alor is like. This video was taken by our guest Nanette van Antwerp during her stay at our resort in June 2017. She is a fantastic underwater videographer and we thank her very much for letting us share this amazing footage with you.
